Golf Festival Malaysia

Kula Lumpur, December 4 –The 2nd Golf Festival Malaysia begins tomorrow at the Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam (KGPA) in Bukit Kiara, offering great bargains and a host of activities for golfers. Organized by the nation’s leading golf publication, ParGolf Magazine, the festival will be open from 10 am to 8 pm from Friday, 5th December to Sunday, 7th December.

Golf Festival Malaysia 2003 has attracted a wide spectrum of exhibitors from the golf industry, so visitors can expect fantastic deals and discounts not only on golf equipment but also golf-related merchandise and services. Exhibitors include Royal Sporting House, Grand Bigwin, JNG Golf, Saske Leisure Systems, The Art of Sports, CW Golf Supplies, DRG Top Green, Portenmax, Asia Pacific Amateur Golfers, Tournament Golfers Club, the Asian PGA, the Malaysian Golf Association, Pulai Springs Resort, Harvard Golf & Country Club, Berjaya Golf & Recreational Clubs and Motor Image (Subaru).

Visitors will also get a chance to win great prizes in spot quizzes and contests, including the ParGolf Putt for Charity Challenge in aid of Shelter Home. Equipment and club-fitting demos plus a live deejay will help create a real festive atmosphere befitting the current holiday season.

“We’re expecting a big crowd to show up for Golf Festival Malaysia 2003,” said Suzannah Gun Palmer, the publisher of ParGolf Magazine. “It’s going to be real festival of golf with great bargains and exciting activities lined up for all three days.”

Visitors who sign up for ParGolf Magazine’s special subscription packages during the Festival will be entitled to participate in a ParGolf Magazine Subscription Drive Lucky Draw, which offers the mouth-watering Grand Prize of two return air-tickets to Langkawi.

The Festival will culminate in the ParGolf Invitational Scramble on Sunday afternoon, a golf tournament organized specially for the magazine’s business partners and other invited guests. The tournament will feature the ParGolf Bull’s Eye Charity Challenge at Hole 8, where once again all proceeds will be donated to Shelter Home.

Golf Festival Malaysia 2003 is supported by Tourism Malaysia, the Malaysian Golf Association and the Golf Club Managers Association of Malaysia (GCMAM). Parking is ample and absolutely free of charge. The Official Hotel is the luxurious Eastin Hotel just a stone’s throw away from KGPA.
