Clearwater Sanctuary host the Perak Amateur Open (Men & Ladies) from 7-9 September 2012.

Conducted by the Malaysian Golf Association, Perak Amateur Open is a yearly event in the MGA's Fixtures. Since 2008, this event has been included in the R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking that ranks the world's top amateurs.
