JUNIOR CLINIC OFF TO A GREAT START AT PEKAN, PAHANG

The MGA State Junior Clinic is off to a great start with 77 juniors comprised of 21 girls and 56 boys turned out at Royal Pekan Golf Club.

Starting in 2008, the junior clinic managed to reach more than 3000 juniors nationwide. Starting in 2010, the clinic will be divided into 2 sessions, morning and afternoon for beginners and intermediate respectively.

The program of the clinic ranging from rules & etiquette session, fundamental of golf swings to short game priciples.

The clinic in Royal Pekan Golf Club was conducted by National Coaches Pro V. Gunalen, Pro Faridil Atras and assisted by local Pro, Mr. Vinayagam.

Maj. Jimmy Ng Goot Seong (Coordinator of MGA Junior Clinics) was present as a representative of MGA and gave away a memento to the RPGC Honorary Secretary, En. Ahmad Zaini Hj. Yaakob.

MGA would like to record our appreciation to RPGC for hosting the first MGA State Junior Clinic for 2010 season.

The next MGA State Junior Clinic is scheduled from March 12-13 for Terengganu (venue to be confirmed), March 16-17 for Sabah at Labuan GC and March 27-28 for Selangor (venue to be confirmed).
