MALAYSIAN JUNIOR OPEN GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 ENTRY CLOSED

The entry to the 100Plus Malaysian Junior Open Golf Championship 2008 is now closed for the 12 to 18 years old category. The event is scheduled from 19-21 August 2008 at Palm Resort Golf & Country Club. However, the entry to the 6 to 11 years category is still open.
11 teams from South Africa, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia have confirmed their participation.
Malaysia's nominated players are Gavin Kyle Green, the winner of the recent US Kids Teen Golf Championship for Boys under 14 years old and Sharon Lau, the winner of the Bangladesh Ladies Amateur Open and runner up of the recent SUKMA 2008.
To date, 121 juniors (91 boys and 31 girls) have signed up for the 12 to 18 year category while 31 juniors, 28 boys and 3 girls have confirmed for the 6 to 11 year category.
