JOHOR SUCCESSFULLY HOSTED 2 MGA JUNIOR CLINICS

Royal Johor Country Club and Bukit Banang Golf & Country Club successfully hosted the MGA Junior Clinic on April 26th and 27th 2008 respectively for clubs in Johor.

Fifty enthusiastic and excited juniors took part in the clinic at Royal Johor while in Bukit Banang, a total of 61 juniors participated.

"I believe our plan of having this clinic at each state twice a year has already shown a remarkable result from the number of juniors attending each clinic," head coach Tony Maloney remarked. "The juniors were so excited that some of them could not sleep the night before. I saw a lot of yawns during the clinics. I also heard from Kluang Golf Club that they had to turn down about 20 juniors."

In conjunction with the clinic, Menteri Besar of Johor, YAB Datuk Seri Hj Abdul Ghani Othman launched the Johor State Junior Centre on April 26th at Royal Johor Country Club.
